The Grounds was created by two West Auckland family men who know their way around a kitchen – Mike Shatura and Ben Bayly. Our seasonal menus have a distinctly local flavour, with most of our produce being sourced from Waitakere suppliers to create meals that feel like home—but taste like the work of two of New Zealand’s best chefs.
Sit down for a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner, or grab a quick bite, an artisan ice cream or a Big Dawg Hotdawg — and remember to take some time to enjoy our beautiful grounds.
