River Cottage Cafe

The River Kitchen opened in 2007 and continues to set the pace for the cafe scene in Hamilton with a tally of awards including Best Cafe NZ 2010 from Cafe Magazine. Well known for its fresh white tongue 'n groove interior and friendly staff our cafe is a welcoming place to meet for excellent coffee, cake, breakfast or lunch. The breakfast menu runs daily until 2pm and offers classic combinations as well as a few twists on the usual fare. Lunch is driven by the seasons and represented in the inspired cabinet food which changes daily. We insist on using the best produce including free-range pork, chicken and eggs; organic milk and whole grains; and locally sourced herbs, greens, meats and poultry.
