Welcome to Cafe Cortado, a great place to socialise with friends while enjoying a bottle wine & some fantastic food. Located in the seaside village of Picton, Marlborough, we are bustling local restaurant, cafe and wine bar with a slight South American influence. We offer full contemporary menus & fabulous pizzas that are also available for takeaway. We also have the fabulous flavours of the ocean with an extensive seafood offering. We just love wine! Select Kiwi artisans feature amongst other well-known wineries from around the country or try one of our fantastic international offerings to accompany your dining. Our large range of bottle and tap beer includes the Macs range and Emersons, some of which are on tap and available in a 1 litre stein, perfect on that sunny afternoon after a long day at work. We also have amazing coffee! Our new four bean blend coffee is to die for – trust us, as we have taste-tested it a lot. Our coffee beans come from four very different regions – Guatemala, Brasil, Kenya and Ethiopia. With each region offering a completely different taste, these beans have been individually roasted and then blended to a ratio selected through taste tests by the Cafe Cortado staff. The Guatemala beans provide a rich, creamy mouthful with a caramel and honey sweetness that is accompanied by tones of cocoa, cinnamon, citrus and white wine. Our Brasil beans have a smooth, nutty flavour with a sweet finish; compare this to the Kenya beans and their bright, fruity flavours that will just brighten your day. And finally, our Ethiopian beans are beautifully delicate with floral aromas and a very soft taste with hints of berry fruit, citrus and rose.
