10 Knots Waiheke Island Smokehouse makes craft fresh smoked fish including Kahawai, Hoki, Warehou, Trevally and Hake in our small smokehouse on Waiheke Island.
You can buy all of our fish including smoked salmon sides online, direct from our factory shop or at select retailers including Farro Fresh Food, New World and Pak N Save. It's also available in wineries, cafes, bars, restaurants and delis all over New Zealand.
Our factory shop is located on the beautiful Waiheke Island, just outside of Auckland.
Owned by James Siddle and Mike Stewart, 10 Knots is named after an ideal wind speed. James loves fishing and Mike loves sailing, they were walking on Onetangi beach when they came up with the name 10 Knots, which they think sums up the smokehouse and the owners' connection to the sea.
We smoke daily at our smokehouse on Waiheke Island using only natural ingredients.
