Almost ten years ago Eat New Zealand was established, and we began fighting for fairer and more delicious food for Aotearoa. We've held activations and events, conducted research and led projects, advocated and represented wherever we can. We’re really proud that our largest constituency continues to be farmers and chefs, showing the breadth of our work. But we need your help to reach the ten year milestone. We’re planning the biggest food conversation New Zealand has ever seen in May 2025, to celebrate ten years. We’ll be drawing together food producers, scientists, community organisations, health & education professionals, hospitality & tourism experts and global thought leaders. We’re doubling down on our call for a National Food Strategy, but also sharing the projects and aspirations of regional and local communities. We understand the huge power in collaboration and we know we have the capacity to bring the right people into that room. So join us on our journey to ten years, we won’t make it without your help. After all, we a not for profit movement, defined by those who support us, those who want to be instrumental in a future where all New Zealanders have access to food that keeps us well physically and economically, and is produced in a way that reflects our values. Here’s where you can help... Ngā mihi nui, Angela Clifford CE Eat New Zealand. @eat.newzealand
