This week we’re launching our search for more Eat New Zealand Kaitaki. This cohort of young food leaders is now 100 strong and includes farmers, fishers, health professionals, food waste experts, food security visionaries, winemakers, small food producers, food technologists, educators, iwi leaders, artists, writers, chefs and many, many others in the Aotearoa food system.
Thanks again to Our Land and Water National Science Challenge, we have another opportunity to add to this host of amazing humans. And speaking of adding to… six of Aotearoa’s National Science challenges have come out in support of a National Food Strategy. Between them, they represent an extraordinary amount of research that speaks to a desire for better outcomes for our environment, and our people and society within it. It’s a powerful indictment. You can join the call as well by signing our petition here. Angela Clifford, CE Eat New Zealand.
